I’m pretty sure Lee had slaves after ’51. SInce Custis died in 57 and the will put him on a 5 year period before they could be freed. Plus, the estate was in debt and he went to work as a planter in the late 50′s. Ah the talking points, they never change.
Did you really think that a matter of 5 years would really come between them and making Robert E. Lee look bad? I think not. Facts are only used when they can be destored to their liking. Plus…did you see anyone “attack” Karen in the video? Again…I think not!
